Raffaella Morelli, Founder and Executive Chef of Salvatore's Cucina Italiana, has always held Italy's cuisine and culture near and dear to her heart. A native of Rome, Raffaella opened the doors to Salvatore’s Cucina Italiana soon after her arrival in the United States in the late 1980's. From that moment on, Raffaella and her staff, have worked tirelessly to develop Salvatore’s into one of San Diego's best fine dining restaurants.

Nestled in the heart of Downtown San Diego and just steps from the San Diego Convention Center, Salvatore's offers exceptional Italian cuisine, a variety of specialty cocktails and a wine list that features select Californian and Italian wines. Combined with the restaurant's newly remodeled interior, it provides an elegant, romantic atmosphere unlike anything else San Diego has to offer.

With a philosophy of hospitality over pretension, it is our mission that each guest be treated like family, with love and care at each and every step of their dining experience.
